I don't set out to collect award-winning images or chase rare species. I simply travel through Southern Africa with a camera close at hand, ready when an opportunity presents itself. Some photographs were planned. Most were not.
They are moments that happened to unfold in front of me—an elephant emerging from the dust, a lion resting beside the road, the first light touching a Kalahari dune, or a bird that decided to wait just long enough for one photograph.
These images are simply my way of sharing the places we've been fortunate enough to visit.
